Special mural completed in honour of Diogo Jota near Anfield

A special mural tribute to Diogo Jota nearby Anfield, created by artist John Culshaw, has now been completed. One of several fan-led homages to the Portuguese, who died in a road traffic accident alongside his brother Andre Silva earlier this month, the piece depicts Jota in a moment of celebration. It is located on the exterior of the Halfway House pub, just a short walk from the Reds’ home stadium, where Jota enjoyed so many moments of joy after his arrival from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020.
